New exhibitors and international options at Intertextile Pavilion Shenzhen
With a huge number of apparel designers and manufacturers based in the region, Shenzhen is an ideal location for overseas suppliers to connect with the China market. Intertextile Pavilion Shenzhen has become an important date in the industry, offering a quality business platform for international suppliers to meet with thousands of Chinese trade buyers. From 4 – 6 July 2019, new exhibitors will join the show, while popular Asian country & region pavilions will return for another year of successful meetings and onsite orders.
Intertextile Pavilion Shenzhen returns to China’s fashion capital
What builds a fashion capital in China? In Shenzhen, it’s a strong 70% share of China’s high-end women’s wear market, around 30,000 fashion designers and over 2,000 fashion retailers. What’s more, the city benefits from the South China market’s status as a significant trading hub, as a key area of the central government’s new Belt and Road Initiative, supported by Guangdong’s solid garment manufacturing industry. From 4 – 6 July 2019, exhibitors and trade buyers alike will be able to capture this market potential at Intertextile Pavilion Shenzhen.
Final Report: New records all around for Intertextile Pavilion Shenzhen
Growth in the fair and growth in the market: exhibitor and buyer increases at Intertextile Pavilion Shenzhen, which concluded last Saturday, reflected the strength of the Southern China fashion sector. The fair welcomed a record 971 exhibitors from 12 countries & regions (2017: 721), and 17,664* trade buyers from 35 countries & regions (2017: 15,608). Accommodating these extra exhibitors, the fair occupied one more hall this edition, and covered 37,500 sqm (2017: 30,000).
Exhibitors connect with hundreds of Chinese fashion brands at Intertextile Shanghai & Shenzhen’s Japan Pavilions
“Made in Japan” is a popular selling point across many consumer goods categories in China – cosmetics, stationery and homeware to name a few – and this demand also extends to the apparel textile industry. The Japan Pavilion is now well established at both Intertextile Pavilion Shenzhen – the next edition of which takes place from 4 to 6 July – and Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics, and continues to draw large crowds at every edition of both fairs. This prompts a key question: every textile producing country has its specialties, but what can be learnt from the phenomenal success of Japanese exhibitors at Intertextile?
