Convenience key factor as June dates announced for next year’s Intertextile Shenzhen

Shenzhen, 21 December 2023. In a move anticipated to augment participants’ sourcing calendars, the organisers have announced mid-year show dates for the next edition of Intertextile Shenzhen Apparel Fabrics. Set to take place from 5 – 7 June 2024, the show will return to Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center in Futian business district. Conveniently accessible by a variety of ports and stations, next year’s venue is seen as an ideal location for buyers from across China, ASEAN, and beyond.

Intertextile Shenzhen concludes: entire value chain connected at extensive edition

Shenzhen, 22 November 2023. Stretching across the apparel textile spectrum, from fibres to garments, nearly 1,500 exhibitors representing 16 countries and regions showcased textiles with applications appropriate for every occasion. Combined with Yarn Expo Shenzhen, DPARK (Fashion Design), and PH Value, the fair received over 22,000 visits, with buyers hailing from more than 60 countries and regions. As such, the three-day show, held from 6 – 8 November 2023 at Shenzhen World Exhibition and Convention Center, proved to be an important gateway for China-global textile trade. Intertextile Shenzhen Apparel Fabrics is seen by many in the industry as an effective supplement for the Autumn Edition held in Shanghai, with key players drawn to the former’s Greater Bay Area (GBA) location, stronger focus on ladieswear, and numerous Asian exhibitors and buyers.

In support of pandemic control measures in Shenzhen, which has recently seen an uptick in Covid-19 cases, the two fairs have been deferred to 2023. The fairs were originally due to take place concurrently from 2 – 4 November 2022 at the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center.

The 2021 editions of Intertextile Shenzhen Apparel Fabrics and Yarn Expo Shenzhen will now take place from 8 – 10 December instead of their original early-November date. The fairs will remain at the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center alongside CHIC and PH Value.

Intertextile Apparel announces dates for Shanghai Autumn Edition and Shenzhen show, enabling year-round sourcing

Fairgoers can now update their global event calendars as Intertextile Apparel confirms the dates for the two shows to be held in the latter half of 2021. Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics – Autumn Edition will take place from 25 – 27 August at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai). And for the first time, Intertextile Shenzhen Apparel Fabrics will take place in November and will again be held at the world’s largest exhibition venue, the Shenzhen World Exhibition and Convention Center. The Shenzhen show will run from 3 – 5 November. Intertextile Apparel’s 2021 fair dates ensure that participants can benefit from year-round access to both East and South China markets, as well as South East Asia markets and beyond.

Intertextile is back: first Intertextile fair of the year takes place in Shenzhen

From 15 – 17 July, Messe Frankfurt hosted its first trade fair since February and the first Intertextile Apparel show of the year: Intertextile Shenzhen Apparel Fabrics. The fair was newly rebranded this year to align with the two well-established Intertextile Apparel shows in Shanghai and was well-received despite the current industry challenges and travel restrictions, proving the significant demand for an Intertextile Apparel fair in the Greater Bay Area region. Held at the larger, brand-new Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center, the 2020 edition of Intertextile Shenzhen Apparel Fabrics welcomed a total of 886 exhibitors covering 50,000 sqm. Together with the concurrently held Yarn Expo Shenzhen, CHIC and PH Value, the four fairs attracted over 42,000 visits.

Intertextile Shenzhen opens Wednesday, welcoming new exhibitors whilst domestic and international pavilions return

As events and exhibitions begin to resume in Guangdong province, Intertextile Shenzhen is preparing to welcome new domestic, as well as international exhibitors to China’s fashion capital this week from 15 – 17 July. The newly rebranded Intertextile Shenzhen Apparel Fabrics (formerly Intertextile Pavilion Shenzhen) will take place from 15 – 17 July 2020, at a brand new venue – the Shenzhen World Exhibition and Convention Center. An estimated 2,000+ exhibitors are expected to join a space of 60,000 sqm (2019: 1,065 exhibitors). Exhibitor numbers up by 8% at Intertextile Pavilion Shenzhen 2019, as fair prepares to upgrade to larger venue

From 4 – 6 July 2019 at Intertextile Pavilion Shenzhen, 1,065 international exhibitors from 11 countries and regions (2018: 971 from 12 countries & regions, an 8% increase) welcomed 17,745 visitors from 46 countries and regions* (2018: 17,664 from 35 countries & regions). Exhibitors reported successful business outcomes in the promising South China market, thanks to the fair’s high buyer quality and location. After already expanding by one hall last year, venue and date changes are planned for the next edition in 2020 to further accommodate the fair’s consistent growth.

Final Report: New records all around for Intertextile Pavilion Shenzhen

Growth in the fair and growth in the market: exhibitor and buyer increases at Intertextile Pavilion Shenzhen, which concluded last Saturday, reflected the strength of the Southern China fashion sector. The fair welcomed a record 971 exhibitors from 12 countries & regions (2017: 721), and 17,664* trade buyers from 35 countries & regions (2017: 15,608). Accommodating these extra exhibitors, the fair occupied one more hall this edition, and covered 37,500 sqm (2017: 30,000).

Intertextile Pavilion Shenzhen opens next week with 34% more exhibitors

968 exhibitors from 12 countries & regions will take part in next week’s Intertextile Pavilion Shenzhen, a 34% increase compared to 2017. Four additional countries – India, Indonesia, Thailand and Turkey – are represented this year compared to the last. Running from 5 – 7 July, the fair is Southern China’s leading event for apparel fabrics and accessories, attracting big-name Chinese and global fashion brands. Occupying one more hall this year, bringing the total to 37,500 sqm, the fair expands in scale by 25%.
